The technical design features of sanitary installations take a back seat nowadays. Well-shaped ceramic pans and taps characterise the appearance of contemporary bathrooms. However, the use of a contemporary installation wall is not possible or practical in all construction situations. When older toilet systems need to be replaced, for instance, the rule is to use traditional toilets with visible cisterns.
Geberit Monolith now offers an additional alternative. The new sanitary module for toilets can be installed like a toilet with a visible cistern without any construction modifications. It’s simple and fast. At the same time, Geberit Monolith creates a contemporary appearance by cleverly hiding the cistern behind glass. Rewarded with the iF product design award 2010.

The innovative wall drain for floor-even showers
Floor-even showers are all the rage. But a water drain in the floor is often perceived as a foreign body and is demanding in terms of installation. The new Geberit shower elements integrate the drain in the wall and can be fitted with the tried-and-tested Geberit installation systems. This also means that the tasks for the various trades are clearly separated. Geberit shower elements can be used in both drywall and solid construction. For use in drywall construction, shower elements are available for Geberit’s Duofix and GIS installation systems. Uniflex shower elements have been designed for use in solid construction. Rewarded with the iF product design award 2010.

Perfect convenience
Geberit AquaClean gently cleans you with water, transforming any bathroom into a spa oasis. The product line was launched last year and includes three different toilet enhancement models and two complete solutions with different equipment.
Depending on the construction situation, the plumber may be faced with particular challenges when retrofitting a toilet with Geberit AquaClean: The required feed pipes should be laid without affecting the appearance; and changes to the building structure should be avoided, inasmuch as possible.
With the new Geberit AquaClean design cover, retrofitting a toilet with Geberit AquaClean provides an ideal result. The water supply line is hidden behind the white cover plate in which the flush-mounted dual flush actuator plate is integrated.

 | | Geberit insert for in-cistern blocks
Compared to toilet bowl rim hangers, in-cistern blocks have the benefit of not being seen and their refreshing effect occurring evenly on every flush, even under the rim of the bowl.
While using in-cistern blocks is no problem with exposed cisterns, this is not possible for concealed cisterns, as they are not accessible. But in-cistern blocks can now also be used in concealed cisterns.
And it only takes a second thanks to the new Geberit insert for in-cistern blocks. It’s easy to use: Open. Insert. Close.

Optimum pull with reliable watertightness
Small pipes – great performance: The Geberit Pluvia roof drainage system siphons off rainwater from the roof using negative pressure – up to 12 litres per second. This makes it vastly superior to traditional drainage systems. As it requires far fewer pipes, it is also interesting in terms of price.
The Pluvia universal outlet can be combined with all standard roof foils, thus making installation even simpler and more flexible. Its output remains equally high. The added reliability results from the redesigned sealing collar, which can be used with standard roof foils. This means that the Pluvia roof outlet can be used universally.

 | | Geberit sanitary flushing with time switch
Sanitary flushing from Geberit supports the operators of drinking water systems in public and semi-public buildings when ensuring hygiene standards by collecting drinking water at regular intervals. Now Geberit sanitary flushing units can be fitted with a time switch. This means that flushing sequences can be programmed at a fixed time on freely selectable weekdays.
Furthermore, several sanitary flushing units can now be synchronised. The time switch is fitted with a replaceable emergency battery; this maintains the programmable flush times even in the event of a power cut. Geberit sanitary flushing can, of course, also be easily integrated into the building management system.

 | | Geberit Silent-PP with additional dimensions
Geberit Silent-PP is the new plug-in system for acoustically optimised drainage: Robust, three-layer pipes and the hydraulically improved geometry of the fittings reduce the noise level of the water outflow and make Silent-PP the preferred drainage system.
Silent-PP pipes and fittings are now also available in the dimensions 32, 125 and 160 mm. This means that the system can also be used for condensate drains and airconditioning systems.

Geberit PushFit is a flexible and robust plastic push-fit system for heating and drinking water installations, which visibly and audibly supports the plumber with a pushfit indicator for establishing a secure connection. The PushFit range has been extended and improved as follows: PushFit deburring and calibration attachment (diameter 16 – 25), PushFit deburring and calibration mandrel optimisations (better visibility of the dimension), and PushFit/Mepla external bending springs (no damage to the internal pipe and better hygiene characteristics). |
