Gold for Geberit

EcoVadis sustainability rating

The Geberit Group once again receives the Gold Medal from EcoVadis in 2025. Geberit thus ranks among the top 5 per cent of the companies listed by EcoVadis – across all industries and countries.

The gold medal is the second-highest award given as part of the provider’s annual assessment of sustainability ratings. The award highlights for customers and suppliers that Geberit has a comprehensive, systematic, and long-term sustainability management system in place.

Long-standing commitment
Since the development of its first environmental strategy in 1990, Geberit has pursued a comprehensive sustainability strategy that is continuously being developed. Today, it is an integral part of the corporate strategy and an important factor for long-term success. “Sustainability has been an integral part of the Geberit culture for several decades. Our focus is on consistent implementation – steadily and with measurable results,” explains CEO Christian Buhl.

Renowned sustainability rating
Founded almost 20 years ago, EcoVadis has grown into one of the world’s largest providers of sustainability ratings for companies, creating a global network of over 150,000 assessed businesses.
