Down-to-earth
That’s who we are
Geberit AS AN EMPLOYER
The best collaboration is achieved when the beliefs and behaviours of our employees align with the company’s values.
The “Geberit Compass” is the guiding framework for our daily actions. It defines our corporate identity, our four values and our six leadership and behavioural principles. Together, they form the foundation of our lived culture and provide clear orientation.
The Core of our Company
Water is our element – because water is at the heart of our products. Our systems are designed to guide, control and utilise water in buildings – from its use as drinking water to hygiene and cleaning, all the way to safe drainage. At the centre lies Geberit’s core:
Mastering Water – because people need excellent sanitary products.
This guiding principle expresses who we are, what drives us and describes our technical excellence in mastering the flow of water in buildings – always with the aim of improving people’s daily lives.
Shared values
Successful collaboration requires shared values. Integrity, modesty, teamwork and responsibility are the four values that shape the Geberit culture. These fundamental principles define what we consider right or wrong and are binding for all employees.
- Integrity
We act sincerely and honestly, treat each other respectfully, and are consistent in what we say and do. - Modesty
We are ambitious and strive for excellence in everything we do, but act humbly and in a down-to-earth manner. - Collaboration
We are reliable and trust and support each other. Wemshare our knowledge and work together constructively to find the best solution. - Accountability
Everyone is responsible for their decisions, actions and outcomes. We put the good of the company first and not our own personal interest.
Leadership and WORK principles
At Geberit, we share a clear understanding of how we work, act and make decisions. That is why six leadership and behavioural principles are embedded in the Geberit Compass: Focus, Decisiveness, Performance, Empowerment, Resilience, Communication.
Whether in a team, a project or a specialist area – with or without managerial responsibility – these principles apply to all employees and reflect Geberit’s understanding of good leadership and professional responsibility.

Orientation in daily life
While the compass shows us the direction we need to take, the Code of Conduct provides concrete answers on how to deal with specific situations in our day-to-day work.
It contains rules of conduct and practical examples and is binding for all Geberit employees worldwide. By acting in accordance with the Code of Conduct, we create a strong, trusting and appreciative working culture.
