A flying start in Bulgaria
New Geberit representative office
Geberit has recently opened a representative office (rep office) in Bulgaria. A local duo is set to develop the market in this Eastern European country in collaboration with staff from Switzerland.
Geberit is getting off to a flying start in Bulgaria. With the recently opened rep office in the capital, Sofia, and local staff, Geberit is gradually building up a network of sales partners.
Ana Dilova, as head of the office and business developer, took up her post back in September 2025. For the past few months, she has also been supported on the ground by retail consultant Toni Ganchev. Colleagues from Switzerland assist the duo as well.
Visibility comes first …
“An initial goal is to improve the brand’s visibility,” says Ana Dilova. In this regard, she has achieved a great deal in just a few months. When she started, only a handful of showrooms were stocked with Geberit products. Within a few months, that number has risen by 45 showrooms featuring Geberit displays. She has also successfully introduced Geberit concealed cisterns and flush plates to the DIY sector, with sanitaryware set to follow soon.
… then the plumber
As visibility increases, the next objective is also gaining in importance: to engage even more closely with plumbers as key decision-makers. “To achieve this, we must of course first be visible.” And in the medium term, this will also require additional resources. “The team is set to grow further over the next two years,” says Remo Zwick of Geberit International Sales AG in Rapperswil-Jona (CH). He is convinced: “This is a clear commitment to the Bulgarian market and our partners.”
