An oyster full of pearls

Directly on the Dubai Water Canal, a horseshoe-shaped building rises up, reminiscent of an oyster with a pearl. With its recent renovation, this “oyster” has been given numerous new pearls – including Geberit products.

Pearls were once an important export commodity of the Arabian Peninsula. Pearl fishing flourished in the Persian Gulf, particularly in what is now the United Arab Emirates, until the beginning of the 20th century. Today, there is little to remind people of this. However, this lost tradition should not be completely forgotten. 

The DaVinci Tower resembles an open oyster with a pearl floating inside. Originally built as J One Tower and equipped with mid-range apartments, the striking building with its two 19-storey towers has recently undergone renovation. This renovation does even more justice to the idea of the shell.

Italian sports car designer

Horacio Pagani, founder of the exclusive supercar brand Pagani and former chief engineer at Lamborghini, took charge of the interior design and added numerous other gems to the "oyster." This was a first for him and a visible upgrade for the building. 

Pagani's design philosophy combines aesthetic beauty with functional excellence. He achieves this through high-quality craftsmanship, an eye for detail, and the seamless combination of form and function. 

Shower toilets in 125 apartments

The bathroom is also full of gems. Various Geberit products have been installed, from cisterns and shower solutions to toilets. According to John Chrysochoos, Geberit Sales Manager for the UAE, Qatar, and Oman, Geberit scored particularly well with the high quality of its products. "But our excellent service, whether in consulting, installation, or after-sales, was also a decisive factor."

A special highlight of the bathrooms are the AquaClean Mera shower toilets installed in 125 apartments. On top, Geberit Smyle toilets are installed in each of the guest bathrooms. The products also fit in perfectly with Pagani's design concept. Geberit harmonizes design and functionality.
