At the heart of the design world
New Geberit Experience Center in Milan
To mark the start of Milan Design Week 2026, Geberit opened its new Geberit Experience Center in the Tortona District – a place right in the heart of Milan’s vibrant design scene.
Few cities embody aesthetics and design as powerfully as Milan. In this inspiring environment, Geberit has created a permanent platform with its new Experience Center for exchange between design, architecture and technology. The focus is on the experience of Mastering Water, Geberit’s core competence.
“The Geberit Experience Center makes visible what we stand for: responsible use of water – for reliability and comfort in everyday life,” says Silvia Del Vitto, Head of Marketing and Product Management at Geberit Italy. “At the same time, we are creating an open place for exchange and learning with customer groups from all over the world.”
Geberit expertise across 800 square metres
The exhibition was designed by the Ippolito Fleitz Group and is located in a former industrial and commercial complex in the lively Tortona district. Spanning around 800 square metres, the Experience Center is divided into several interconnected experiential zones. At its heart is the Mastering Water Tower, which makes the water flows and technical systems of a building visible and reveals processes that normally remain hidden behind the wall. This is complemented by interactive technical stations where products can be tested, as well as realistic bathroom environments designed to inspire.
Milan Design Week as a starting point
With the opening of the Geberit Experience Center during Milan Design Week 2026, Geberit deliberately engages in dialogue with the international design and architecture community. A key expression of this is the temporary installation RŌS, realised in collaboration with the renowned Swiss architecture and design studio atelier oï. Like a curtain, a shimmering structure stretches through the space. From a distance, it appears calm, almost graphic. Only as visitors approach do the water droplets become visible. They glide down fine stainless steel springs, stop, gather and move on. A sensual, artistic translation of Mastering Water.
