Hotel on a Mission
Hotel Chamade, Ghent (BE)

The Hotel Chamade in Ghent is committed to sustainability – which is why it works primarily with local food producers. Geberit was chosen for the bathrooms because the durability of its products is also beneficial to the environment.

Ghent stands for history. For culture and grandeur. But that's not all. The venerable metropolis in East Flanders has also committed itself to sustainable construction and is confidently pursuing this path.

The Hotel Chamade near the main railway station is part of this. Hotelier Jeffrey Van Vooren says: "Sustainability and quality were also at the forefront when planning the bathrooms in the hotel." This fits in with the hotel's overall concept. In the catering area, for example, it works primarily with local producers, keeping delivery routes short and ensuring the highest quality of food. "We have a close personal relationship with our local farmers."

Durability à la Geberit

Meanwhile, Geberit products dominate the bathrooms – whether it's the VariForm washbasins or AquaClean Alba shower toilets. "For us, Geberit is the perfect partner," says Jeffrey Van Vooren. This is because the products are designed for durability and spare parts are easy to replace.

Ultimately, this fits in with the hotel's mission: to offer hotel guests luxury while combining this with a high sense of responsibility for the environment.
