Geberit wins marketing prize 2011

The Swiss Marketing Association (GfM) awarded Geberit the Swiss Marketing Prize 2011. The panel had no difficulty making its decision, since multiple factors worked in the company’s favour.

Sustainable business success and exceptional marketing achievements – these are the criteria companies must demonstrate in order to be publicly nominated by the GfM for the Swiss Marketing Prize. In 2011, the jury chose Geberit from a field of 86 applicants.

A set of reasons
In addition to Geberit’s long-term corporate success, innovative products such as Geberit AquaClean and Geberit Monolith – which are setting trends in the sanitary industry – as well as the positive image and high customer satisfaction Geberit enjoys were decisive factors for the GfM. Also acknowledged was the fact that Geberit is an industry leader in the area of sustainability and consistently unites long-term economic growth with environmentally friendly and socially responsible action.

For clean water
Geberit has donated the cash prize of 20,000 Swiss francs to the aid organisation Helvetas. This helps to provide access to clean drinking water for people in Africa and contributes to the improvement of their quality of life, which is in turn part of Geberit’s vision.
